1. Registrations

  • Marathon : is open to all runners born in 2007 or before.
  • Marathon by 2 (2x21.1 km) : is open to all runners born in 2009 or before.
  • Transgolfe : is open to all runners born in 2009 or before.
  • Relay marathon & 10 km : is open to all runners born in 2009 or before.

Please note: Any participation in one of the timed formats is subject to the mandatory presentation by participants to the organizer:
- a Competitive Athletics, Corporate Athletics, or Running Athletics license issued by the FFA ;
- or a « Pass’ J’aime Courir » issued by the FFA and completed by a doctor, valid on the date of the event. (Note: other licenses issued by the FFA (Health, Supervision, and Discovery are not accepted) ;
- or a PPS certificate number valid as of March 14, 2027 (paper, electronic or QR Code type) attesting that the participant has completed and validated their health prevention program. To be completed online at : https://pps.athle.fr.

Any application will be considered incomplete if it does not include all of the following documents:
- Official registration form, duly completed,
- Payment of the registration fee,
- Medical certification (license or PPS) as specified above,
- Proof of performance from 2026 or 2027 to qualify for a “under 3:00” priority bib.

Registration is limited
Each race has a limited number of bibs to ensure the quality of the event and the safety of participants. Once the quota is reached, registration closes. There are no resale sites or waiting lists.

All participants in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez Marathon will receive the following runner gifts:

  • My personalized race number.
  • A FINISHER medal.
  • A slice of Tarte TropĂ©zienne at the finish line.
  • A 75cl bottle of rosĂ© from Domaine du Val d’Astier or a 33cl bottle of Bière du Golfe.
  • Baggage check area at the start and transport of my belongings to the finish line.
  • Liquid, solid, and energy-boosting refreshments along the course.
  • Live music along the route.
  • My race results and time.

2. Bibs and departure area

Where : Théâtre de la Mer : 1 Prom. Simon Lorière - Sainte-Maxime.

When :

  • Friday, 12th march 2027 : From 2 PM until 7 PM.
  • Samedi, 13th march 2027 : From 9 AM until 7 PM.

To collect your race number, you will need to bring:

  • Your voucher collection bib (send by email and available on our website a few days before the race).
  • Your valid PPS or license (if you have not provided them in advance).
  • or copy or copy.

BE CAREFUL: No race number will be sending by post or delivered on the day of the race.

For the preferential SAS of less than 3 hours, you must provide proof of performance over a marathon distance completed during the 2026/2027 academic year – no exemptions will be granted. For SAS of 3 hours or more, no proof will be required.

3. Running Expo Village

The Running Expo Village will be located at the Théâtre de la Mer, 1 Prom. Simon Lorière, Sainte-Maxime - and will be open:

  • Friday, 12th march 2027 : From 2 PM until 7 PM.
  • Samedi, 13th march 2027 : From 9 AM until 7 PM.

4. Start/Finish area

The start of all events is launched on Sunday, March 14 at 8:00 a.m.

10 km
The departure is launched on Sunday, March 14 at 8:30 a.m.

We advise you to arrive at the departure site at least 1 hour before.

Marathon / 2x21.1 km / Relay Marathon / Transgolfe
The start is on the Pont du Préconil in Sainte-Maxime.

10 km
The race starts at Domaine de la Croix, La Croix-Valmer.

Marathon / 2x21.1 km / Relay Marathon / 10 km
The finish line is located on the Promenade de la Mer in Cavalaire-sur-Mer.

Transgolfe
The finish line is located at Place des Lices in Saint-Tropez.

Marathon / 2x21.1 km / Relay Marathon : 6h.

10 km : 1h30.

Transgolfe : 2h45.

5. Practical info for the d day

An electronic chip in the form of a strip will be affixed to the back of each bib. This chip will be automatically initialized at the starting line and will serve as a race regularity check at various points along the course. A participant who does not use the roadway will not be classified at the finish.

To ensure the chip is detected on the course's timing mats, be careful to:

  • Don't fold your bib.
  • Don't crease your bib.
  • Don't unstick the strips.
  • And if you are wearing a top over your bib, remember to unzip it when you run over the mats.

Final refreshment station – Marathon: 1 bottle of water per runner (finish line), sparkling water, Coke, pound cake, chocolate, oranges, bananas, madeleines, Haribo sweets.

Final refreshment station – Transgolfe: still water, sparkling water, Coke, oranges, bananas, pound cake, chocolate, sugar, Tuc crackers, madeleines, Haribo sweets.

Final refreshment station – other distances: still water, sparkling water, Coke, oranges, bananas, pound cake, chocolate, sugar, Tuc crackers, madeleines, Haribo sweets.

A bag and a sticker with the bib number will be given to runners when they collect their bib. Please note that only bag-in-boxes provided by the organization will be accepted. On the morning of the race, runners can drop off their bags free of charge in the bag-in-box located near the start area. This bag will then be transported by the organization to the finish area where the runner can collect it upon presentation of their race bib.

Restrooms are regularly available to runners along the course.

Six pacers will be present for this 4th edition of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez Marathon. These six reference times (3:30 / 3:45 / 4:00 / 4:15 / 4:30 and 5:00) will allow you to complete your marathon according to your race goal. These pacemakers will be identified by large flames. Each time has its own flame color!

Take bus no. 876 to Sainte-Maxime and the Village Expo site – a 50-minute journey.
o From TOULON STATION
Take bus route no. 878 to Cavalaire-sur-Mer – a journey of 1 hour 40 minutes. You can also continue your journey to Saint-Tropez in a further 40 minutes.

The choice depends mainly on which race you’re running and your preferences:
Sainte-Maxime
Start of the Marathon, the 2*21.1, the Transgolfe and the Relay Marathon.
This is also the location of the Expo Village and the marathon start.
Saint-Tropez
Finish of the Transgolfe.
Cavalaire-sur-Mer
Recommended for supporters and runners wishing to be close to the marathon finish line.
La Croix-Valmer
A quiet and convenient option, particularly suitable for participants in the 10 km race.

If you have to withdraw, it is important to let a volunteer or a member of the organising team know as soon as possible. Arrangements are in place to ensure you are looked after and returned safely.

The easily accessible points are marked with green stars.

6. After the race

As soon as your run is over, Azur Sport Organisation offers you a moment of pure relaxation. Physiotherapists, osteopaths, and podiatrists will welcome you for a recovery session in the recovery area located at the Maison de la Mer in Cavalaire-sur-Mer.

Showers are available at the Henry Gros gymnasium in Cavalaire-sur-Mer.
